Unit Overview[]
In both Classic and Regicide game modes the Shoota Boy fills the equivalent role of the Pawn in chess. Typically numerous, they are far more concerned with offense than defense; wearing little armour and depending on the natural toughness of their leathery hides for protection.
Ork Boyz are typical of their kind - aggressive, slow-witted and always itching for a good fight. Equipped with crude high-caliber solid-shot guns that are seemingly hammered together out of scrap metal, their numbers are what makes them truly dangerous.
A rank of eight pawns make up a players's front row in a standard chess game.
The Pawn can typically only move only forwards, and only one space at a time.
A Pawn that is in its second-rank starting position may elect to move two squares forward instead of one.
A Pawn may only capture enemy pieces by moving diagonally forward onto their squares.
